Know How to Use CBD Oil and Tincture

CBD oils and tinctures are some of the most common forms of CBD products. They are quite similar to CBD concentrate, but they are diluted. They come with coconut oil, hemp seed oil or olive oil and tend to be preferred by beginners because they have added flavors such as mint and cherry, which make the experience more enjoyable.

Some people also prefer them to CBD edibles because they take effect faster and have a higher absorption rate. Perhaps the only disadvantage of oil and tincture is that they are not as easy to consume as CBD edibles, which are like gummy bear treats that you can easily pop into your mouth.

Nevertheless, taking CBD oil and tincture won't require too much effort. If it's your first time using such product, then here's a beginner's guide for you.

Sublingual - Drip under the tongue

This the most common application of CBD oil. To drip it under your tongue, you need to fill a dropper with the CBD oil to the desired amount or dose. Then, place the tip of the dropper under your tongue. If you want to be more precise with the amount, you may use a spoon. Before swallowing the oil, allow it to stay and get absorbed for one to five minutes. The reason why it must be dripped under your tongue is because it needs to get on the sublingual gland, which helps the cannabinoid to go directly to the bloodstream.

Topical application

The skin can absorb the cannabinoid very well due to its receptors. This makes CBD oil a great alternative to conventional topical treatments. You can use it to ease muscle pain and eczema. Some people also use the oil to add an extra layer of protection against UV sun rays and dry weather. Simply apply your desired amount to the affected skin. Rub the oil or tincture gently for better absorption.
